Audio Storyteller and Teacher

Kyle Norris has worn many hats in his more than 20 years of professional audio experience: host, reporter, producer, editor, instructor. 

Kyle spent 10 years at Michigan Public (formerly Michigan Radio) as a host and reporter and has additionally worked for KNKX and KUOW in Seattle. 

His stories have appeared on Morning Edition, All Things Considered, Weekend Edition, Here & Now, Marketplace, The Splendid Table and The Environment Report. 

Kyle approaches complex human experiences with a compassionate touch. He explores emotion and meaning in a story. While also making connections to larger systems of power and privilege. 

He is inspired by solutions journalism. A reporting approach that investigates how people try to solve widely shared, societal problems.
